a) Reproducibility, time stability
Free Flow Electrophoresis is a stable and unvarying, continuous separation technology.
On this example, six samples of cell lysate of human thyroid cancer cells were separated one by one on a IEF-FFE run.
After the FFE separations the evry second fraction of each sample was applied on SDS-PAGE for quality control. The gels were stained with colloidal CBB.
The gels show identical pattern on all six gels, proofing the stability of the pH-gradient over time.
